This is a comprehensive course covering every aspect of project management – initiation, planning, executing, monitoring and controlling, and finally closing the project. You will study different types of project management methodology, allowing you to intervene on any project in any context.
This course is delivered through lectures, group discussions, and individual and group exercises.
Learners taking part in this course will now have access to the EBSCO Online Library, free of charge, for the full duration of the course. Here you can browse thousands of relevant journal articles and other reliable academic and commercial texts like the Harvard Business Review, Bloomberg Business week and Forbes Magazine, to supplement your learning and assignments.

ASSESSMENT AND CERTIFICATION
There will be a one hour multiple-choice exam which will account for 25% of the overall grade. Learners will be expected to complete the exam within 72 hours from the final class.
In the two weeks after the end of the course, you will be required to write and submit a project management plan on a project of your choice, which will account for the other 75%.
Upon successful completion of the course you will receive a UCD Professional Academy Diploma.
This course is not on the National Framework of Qualifications.
